About the Book

Found Treasure: Gems of Great Leadership and Personal Skills offers the field-tested wisdom of a successful insurance executive, coach, teacher, and father whose background and experience have led him to unearth a wealth of insights for finding a satisfying and successful path through life. Each chapter typically begins by introducing its focus and then shares some stories that refine that focus. Then some guidance, advice, and wisdom for navigating life’s journey follow. About the Author

Lloyd “Skip” Amstrup earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from San Jose State University. He taught high school students for eight years and worked in the insurance industry for thirty-two years, retiring as a field executive for State Farm. He was born in San Francisco and grew up in Columbus, Ohio. He and Trica, his wife, have two children and five grandchildren.
