The Intuitive in You

We are Energy. Our Energy Body surrounds us and binds us, and it’s as much a part of us as our arms and legs. You can learn to control it just as you control your hands. Learning about your Energy Body helps you understand that this Energy Field exists. It can launch you on a journey to discover how to control it with intent. In the same way as you’d reach for a glass of water and pick it up to drink it, you can use, shift, and control your Energy Body. How you hold your energy is almost as important as drinking that glass of water. Although I’d had many experiences in my early life that allowed me to trust God’s power, I first encountered my Energy Field in the late 1970s. I was 17 and teaching sailing and canoeing with the Canadian Armed Forces in the Yukon, a territory in northwestern Canada bordering Alaska. My students were Inuits, Natives, and Caucasians. At that time, violence was much more prevalent in Canadian society than it is today. In the town where we lived, young women were being attacked and raped. Royal Canadian Mounted Police were also being beaten and even killed by gangs. After months in the bush, I came into the barracks late one night to hear my fellow instructors talking about these occurrences. As they talked about how the gangs had better not touch any of us, three female co-workers ran into the room, disheveled and distraught. The women had outrun a group of Natives who were screaming about attacking them. Twelve of us young men decided to venture out – in this rough northern town in the middle of the night. At the heart of downtown, we yelled challenges to the Natives to come out and face us. We were all Caucasians from different parts of Canada. I was leading, well out in front, with another man who was the leader of a gang in Saskatoon. We were spread out for quite a distance, probably 40 yards, when four hundred men or more came running out of the alleys. Suddenly, I was surrounded by 40 or 50 men, cut off from my friends with no chance of escaping. One large man picked me out. I went into a martial arts stance, ready to fight. As the Natives circled and jeered, I called upon the High Lord's power as I’d done many times before. The crowd went quiet, and the big man was filled with terror – not just fear; there was panic in his eyes. I stood up from my crouched position and began to walk through the crowd. The Native men, who continued to shout in rage, tried to charge at me but were bouncing off a force field that surrounded me. At one point, I heard a scream – a man had leapt into the air and landed on this force field above me and then slid off. They couldn't touch me as I calmly and quietly walked out of the scene. I’d tapped into some higher power, and that power came to me in a real way. When I got back to the woods near our barracks, I found ten of our group in various states of injury. Many were moaning, some in tears. As I walked in, they looked at me in fear and shock. One of them asked, “Is that really you, Chris?” Another asked if I was a ghost. He was certain I was not a person, as they’d assumed I was dead. Some of our group had escaped by hopping fences to elude attacking dogs. Most had been stabbed and beaten; a few were later hospitalized. They could see I was completely uninjured. They asked how I’d got out. I told them I just walked through the crowd, but they refused to believe it. One of my colleagues said, “Chris, you were way out in front of us! We backed off, and you kept walking when they attacked. There was no way you could get out of there alive!” Yet I had escaped unharmed and without harming any of the combatants. In the days that followed, there were no more threats against our team, and the community settled down to its normal but still violent state.
