About the Book

Michael is the good-natured co-owner of a sandwich shop, but has strong disagreements with his opinionated wife Chris, on how to run his successful business. It becomes too much to handle. In an attempt to escape his troubled life, Michael begins to dream about Concepta, a beautiful woman who captures his heart.

Michael's guiltless dreams about Concepta take over his life. Meanwhile, his wife's greed becomes the focus of her world. As the changing couple drift apart, Michael continues to turn to his dreams for comfort. Gradually, he realizes that dreams of Concepta can lead him to the hope of new love in his real life, as he derives great pleasure from the mutual love he shares with Concepta during the dark nights.

In Concepta, a romantic, introspective novel about the subconscious and its power over decisions of the heart, Michael discovers that answers to the most complicated questions about love appear in his dreams, and that the woman he's been waiting for might just be closer than he realizes.
