About the Author
Laurie Ellis was born in Pennsylvania and moved to Florida as a teenager. She graduated from Webber International University where she was editor of the school newspaper. She won the Katherine Anne Porter Literary Award and called New Orleans home for twenty-four years. She currently lives in Texas with her husband, Ben Ellis.
