About the Book
When circumstances dictate, clearly placing Dan and Dori "outside" the law, they are forced to take a year's driving adventure on back roads to the Pacific Northwest. A bizarre event or two plunges them into gorgeous country, but with real danger and uncertainties of all sorts. A favorite uncle's loving gift prompts it all and the unique mystery he dumps on them demands solution. As they try to evade the law, a certain parallel in life becomes evident. Challenging visits with their two grown childrem help. There is truth and riddles, life or death, pursuers and discovery. A hitchhiker, named Fearful Paranoia, still rides in the back seat. And, he won't go away. Humor, love and faith become crucial. But, the raging tension of a seacoast crisis threatens to destroy all they've gained.
About the Author
The author, a happily married father of two, has lived in Arizona since 1978 where he designs custom homes and writes fiction and screenplays. A former forester, teacher, PR man and magazine editor, he enjoys golf, hiking and photography. "On the Lam" is his first novel.
