About the Book

Disillusioned with Cornwallis's scorched earth policy in South Carolina, and to win the love of the passionately patriotic Media Gant DeVoe, Tory Sergeant Buck McCalister turns his coat and becomes a spy for General Francis Marion, the Swamp Fox. About the Author

Davis served in the marines and air force. He earned a B.S. degree in Biology at the University of Georgia, a Ph.D. degree from Ohio State University. He lives in east central Alabama with his wife where he enjoys sailing, outdoor photography, and writing.
