About the Book

Jean and Maggie spent over thirty-years of their lives educating young people, both dreaming of traveling to exotic lands during their retirement years. In March 2003, Jean and Maggie both retired early, and fulfilled their long-held dreams to travel on an African safari, in Kenya and Tanzania.

About the Author

Jean Dunham, who resides in Solvang, California, is a retired educator with a master?s degree in psychology and speech pathology. She is a current member of the NEA, CTA, and a former member of ASHA, AAUW, ACSA, and Delta Kappa Gamma. Jean has received both Community Leader of America, and Outstanding Young Women of America awards. Jean?s travels have taken her to Asia, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, the Mediterranean, South America, Newfoundland, Africa, Alaska, Mexico, and the Caribbean.
