About the Book
It is the year 2015. An organization of political activists called The Walking Star, who believe the Food and Drug Administration has knowledge of a cure for a deadly illness that has ravaged the American meat supply, stage a suicidal protest with 200 people dying every hour until someone comes forth with evidence of a cure.
Carmen Piper, an art instructor, learns that she has the power to put a stop to the events at hand when she receives an unexpected phone call from the leader of the organization. Realizing the depth of the FDA's financial ties to the pharmaceutical companies, they embark on a quest to locate the cure and bring it to the masses. But will they complete their mission before the FDA finds them and stops them in their tracks?
