About the Book
There is always something bigger going on in our lives than we can know or expect.
In truth, the story of our lives is being written right in front of us. The story line is being revealed every day. For an author to interrupt your story line is unfair. The best another can do is share his own story, looking for commonality in humanity.
It is my desire that you enjoy the simple stories and glean a nugget of truth you can use in your own journey. Then hopefully you will find new ways to stand squarely in the middle of your own life and understand what is going on in a way you never have before.

About the Author
Kurt Pearson has learned the challenges of living on the balance beam of life, trying to accommodate a busy professional life while seeking a meaningful personal and family life. He knows he is not alone!
His perspectives have been shaped by quiet time spent in a tree stand deep in his wooded timber and refined by the quiet reflections allowed during a 50-minute cigar. He also enjoys the unconditional love and companionship of his chocolate Labrador, Hershey, who has heard it all.
Above all else, he has learned the value of seeking silence, solitude and inner peace.
Kurt is a Certified Financial PlannerTM and founder of Compass Financial Services. But above all, he is a husband and father, and readily admits he has learned far more from his family than he has taught them.
In his professional role as counselor and advisor, he sees firsthand the life goals, dreams and struggles of those sitting across his desk. He hears what makes others anxious. He sees where they put their priorities. Watches their family grow and mature and become wise.
He knows there is no other choice than living a God-centered life, with spiritually driven decisions and actions. Anything less results in a small and shallow life.
This book is not about the author, it is about you and the life choices your family makes in pursuit of not only a full life but a larger life?lived Coram Deo.
