About the Author

Marie Wallace starred on the TV classic Dark Shadows, followed by a three year stint as India Delaney on Somerset. Her stage credits include the original Broadway productions of Gypsy with Ethel Merman, Sweet Charity with Gwen Verdon, Nobody Loves an Albatross with Robert Preston, The Beauty Part with Bert Lahr, Larry Hagman, Charlotte Rae, and Alice Ghostley, Marie was also featured on Broadway in Mert & Phil alongside Estelle Parsons, and in The Right Honourable Gentleman with Coral Browne. She starred in the revival of The Women on Broadway playing the femme fatale,Crystal Allen. On National Tours, she was featured as Mrs. Mullin with Robert Goulet in Carousel, and played Miss Fancy with Jackie Gleason and Cleavon Little in Sly Fox. In between the above, she starred in dinner theatres, summer theatres, regional theatres and at off-Broadway theatres. She also has a second career of photography and now juggles her time between the two professions.
