About the Author

Melinda Ronka grew up in northern California. In her travels she has hiked in Alaska, camped in Morocco, and ballooned over the Serengeti. She spent three years living in southern Spain, exploring the region with her husband and son. Her first book, Forty Day Trips from Rota, captures the experience.
