About the Author

Ophelia A. Powell Torres is a Registered Nurse and Assistant Professor of Nursing at the University of the Virgin Islands, St. Thomas campus. Her hobbies are reading and writing poetry. She also likes to design floral arrangements. She is an undergraduate of the College of the Virgin Islands and a graduate of New York University, Washington Square, New York, and additional studies at Teachers College, Columbia University, New York.

Victor Manuel Torres is a professor at Borough of Manhattan Community College. His hobbies are tennis, architectural designing, boating and fishing. He is a undergraduate of Inter-American University, Puerto Rico and a graduate of Teachers College, Columbia University, New York.
