About the Author
Tom Swicegood was born in Key West, attended the Admiral Farragut Academy in St. Petersburg and graduated from the University of Florida. He served as a Coast Guard deck officer in Alaska and Greece during the Korean War, and worked for CBS-TV in Washington, D.C. He has written for television (Sea Hunt, The Untouchables, The Blue Angels, U.S. Marshal), produced and directed two theatrical motion pictures (The Undertaker and His Pals and Escape from Hell Island), and is the author of books, including:
