About the Author
Alison Silbert was born and raised in Mississauga, Ontario. Stricken with epilepsy from a young age, she has persevered and gradually overcome this debilitating condition. She graduated from Humber College in August of 2000 with a diploma in computer programming. Since then, her career has involved large institutions as well as small businesses. Coming from a family with a strong history of entrepreneurship, it was only natural that she developed her own website development company in 2003. This company was built around the single premise that a significant part of the business community had the un-met need of learning how to reach their ideal clients via the Internet. Alison has had a lifelong involvement in the educational environment, and it was only natural that she developed a strong desire to teach and pass on her skills and expertise to others in need. As such, her company has grown, diversified, and taken on a range of associates in different professions. She still lives in Mississauga with her husband, her infant son, and a very loyal Sheltie named Cocoa.
