About the Book
Gramp's Christmas Tales is a book containing short stories written for my grandchildren, my little friends at school, and anyone else with a curious mind and a love for Christmas. Some of the tales came from listening to two kindergarten classes at the Elementary school in Gosnell, Arkansas. They were then written and tested on these classes.
Most of the tales are from delving into Santa's personal life, which Santa is always eager to share with children of all ages. It does not matter if you are in kindergarten or in a nursing home Santa is always willing to talk if somebody is willing to listen. Gramps listened while he was visiting Santa at the North Pole.
I have tried to incorporate good manners, love, friendship, laughter, sharing, safety, and imagination throughout the book. I am a volunteer that has been fortunate enough to find two kindergarten classes that will share their time and affection with me. They refer to me as, "Gramps."
