About the Author
M.J. Macpherson ,retired educator, columnist and lecturer, also wife of a flight test engineer, mother of four and grandmother moved to Lancaster, CA in 1957, where she worked with over 15,000 teenagers. Growing up in a more primitive Palm Springs desert during WWII and the post war years, she shares her story.
