About the Book
Living alone without outside contact for ten years, Aedin's life changes suddenly when a large man barges into his cabin carrying a wounded young girl. Aedin is instructed to protect the girl's life at any cost. A major battle ensues against orcs. Aedin and his newfound friend become the victors, and this is just the first of many battles the two will fight as comrades.
Aedin, whose elven mother and human father disappeared ten years ago, learns that the large man is Edwin, a human charged with protecting Anbelise, heir to the elven throne of Glaelien. Edwin tells Aedin of the ongoing disagreements and weakening political climate between the human nation and the elven nation. Aedin begins to wonder if his heritage is somehow linked to these power struggles. He hopes the truth to his parents' demise lies somewhere within their story.
With his newfound allies, Aedin vows to help Edwin and Anbelise. The safety of the nations, and the world, rests on their heroic and dangerous mission.
