About the Book

• And Elba Rae's husband, Fettis, whose generous carpentry skills and willingness to help his neighbors create the ripple which eventually travels all the way into the teacher's lounge and engulfs Elba Rae on a most unfortunate Thursday.

About the Author

Robert F. Hastings grew up in and around west Tennessee surrounded by a close network of extended family who believed, first and foremost, humor was their greatest defense for life?s ills.

Hastings works in the banking industry in Memphis, where he is also at work on his next novel.
