About the Book
"Roy Shifrin asks in a poem, 'Where is love? Where is hate? Why pain and suffering to be found only on the evening news? (and those words, wonderful words) yearning only to get out, to offend or calm, embarrass or hug, beat unmercifully or to so tenderly touch?' Shifrin in trying to answer these questions provides us, in rhymed and unrhymed, with a poetry of uncommon passion."-John Davis
