About the Book
Jumping on God's back like a monkey, seeing the world through his eyes is one of the playful images in A Sip on the Between of Time. Everyone is busy, stressed. Have we forgotten how to see, how to enjoy life? Running about, getting ahead, spending. These things become the focus of the day. Shall we remember "pieces of time unfolding like flowers?" This book is a tiny collection of twenty-seven poems and three short, short stories. An invitation to steal, (really, to find again) the sweetness and fun at the center of life.
Love, waiting for love, hope, creativity, adventure, God, spring, summer, winter, self-acceptance are all among the topics covered. This little book is meant to be tucked in backpack or pocketbook, kept by the computer, or in the car ready to be read while idling in "rush hour" traffic. The hope is that it will wash away weariness, give a lift, a smile.
