About the Author

A native of Oklahoma, Mr. Porter graduated from Dartmouth College and received his Master?s degree in geochemistry from the University of Oklahoma. He served as an officer in the Signal Corps at Fort Monmouth, New Jersey. He then joined CIA and NASA before ending his government career. In 1969 Mr. Porter founded Earth Satellite Corporation (EarthSat), the world leader in interpreting space imagery for crop forecasting, mapping and oil exploration, as well as classified programs. He has written eight books, including two novels. Mr. Porter currently resides in Washington, DC.
