About the Author
Dian Dincin Buchman has a Ph.D. in health sciences. Her books on preventive medicine and safe home remedies have been published world wide. She lectures on Self- Defense Natural Medicine. She has taught plant medicine and commonsense remedies at several colleges. She is the author of Herbal Medicine, Ancient Healing Secrets, The Complete Herbal Guide to Natural Health and Beauty, The Complete Guide to Natural Sleep, and The Complete Book of Water Therapy which will be republished in the year 2000 as The Complete Guide To Water Healing. She also writes on epidemics, dreaming and emergencies. She is the former president of the American Society of Journalists and Authors ( ASJA), the founder and former president of the Council of Writers Organizations ( CWO) and the originator of the renowned yearly ASJA Writers Conference. She travels widely and is a film buff. Her late husband was an internationally known film, opera, tv and theatre makeup artist. Her daughter, a former film executive now lives in Switzerland. She and her husband, a physician, are creating a European medical network for doctors.
