The author takes us on a journey back to our beginnings and up to the present, focusing on the 1960s when the cultural revolution accelerated. She draws from academic knowledge as well as personal experiences in the sixties as a nun, a Hippie, and a convert in the Jesus Movement. About the Author

Linda Rae Herman is a school board member and a teacher in San Jose, California. She has her Masters in Political Science from San Jose State University. Her knowledge of America's cultural revolution is derived from observation, study, and personal participation during its most revolutionary period, Haight-Ashbury, 1967.
