About the Book

When Rick Ramsey is enlisted in a posse to search for his Aunt's cat, he instead finds a young girl's body. He and his wife Rosie begin to investigate and are drawn into the wild and dangerous world of New York's downtown dance clubs. Soon they meet a singer named Ice, who, though idolized by her fans, is as cold as her name.

As her peers become the victims of more grisly murders, Ice begins to respond to Rick and Rosie's friendship, and to believe in life again. But soon it becomes apparent that this disenchanted diva is next on the list of the murderer's intended victims.

About the Author

Rosemarie Santini is a published poet, journalist and novelist who had been published in most major magazines. Her mystery series, The Rick and Rosie Mysteries include A Swell Style of Murder and The Dischanted Diva. Her sleuths, Rick & Rosie appear in New Mystery Magazine: "Sins of the Father", "The Movie Murder" and "The Music Lesson", which won the Blaggard Best Short Story Award and was nominated for the Macavity Award.
