About the Book
Growing up in the U.S. Foreign Service is an experience relatively few have had. Here, the author recounts not only experiences that all boys pass through on the way to manhood, but quite a few gripping adventures, as well. This is a book, which will be hard to put down!
About the Author
The author is the son of a U.S. Foreign Service Officer and lived in seven different countries in Latin America during the period 1944?1963. He has visited every country in Latin America, including Cuba except Bolivia, Paraguay, Guyana, Venezuela, Suriname and Trinidad-Tobago. He wrote the book so that his children and grandchildren could know something about the influences that forged his character.
The author and his wife, Bonnie, live in Alexandria, Virginia. They have two children, Elizabeth Katherine and Kevin Joyce, both of whom have established separate households in Virginia.
