About the Book
"I have always been inspired by people that are willing to make a stand for what they believe in on November 9, 1995, the doctors at the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, CANADA, told me that my daughter's bone marrow had stopped producing blood. She would need on-going transfusions to stay alive. I am a Jehovah's Witness and accept the command in the Bible that prohibits the use of blood. My Search for a Clean Bill of Health starts in Canada, takes me into the United States, then on to Europe and most recently now to the Middle East. I have come to understand through my experience that courage is in fact the conquest of fear, not the absence of fear."
