Dwayne Phillips has been an engineer with the US government since 1980. He has a PhD in Engineering from Louisiana State University. He lives with his wife Karen and his sons Seth, Nathan, and Adam in Reston, Virginia. He is a Deacon at the Fairfax Church of Christ in Fairfax, Virginia.
