About the Book

Art Beam is working on his doctorate in Psychology. He is studying the effect of hit-and-run deaths on the families of victims and perpetrators alike. It is this study, which brings him to Brice, Wisconsin. Mistaken for a police investigator, Beam sets all sorts of activities into motion, while he examines himself, along with those he sought to examine. About the Author

George Motz is a retired farmer, teacher and editor. A prolific writer, Motz is enjoying his retirement on his northern Wisconsin farm, where he works on conservation and environmental projects. A graduate of Northland College, Ashland, Wisconsin, the writer uses his rural background as material in most of his writings.
