"If this author were in my court room, I'd put him in jail." Judge Peter Berger Contra Costa County CAAbout the Author
All his life Norman Spivock has been an entrepreneur, a traveler and a storyteller. It wasn?t until his eighty-second year that he had this collection of short stories published. Norm served in the Second World War in Europe, which began his international travels. He was instrumental in creating the city of Rohnert Park, from a California seed farm. Rohnert Park is currently home to over 30,000 residents. In midlife he joined the Haight Ashbury ?flower child? scene in San Francisco. He has been married two and a half times (the half wasn?t licensed). At age 62, having never ridden a horse, Norm joined his polo-playing wife and played polo for fifteen years. After his third bone breaking accident, he abandoned the game. These days, he works out at a gym, skis, and continues his romance with short story writing. Periodically, Norm hunts and pecks away at his ongoing great American novel. He and his wife Laurie live in northern California?s wine country, in a home overlooking Sonoma Valley.
