About the Author

The late Antonio Barolini was an Italian author and journalist and winner of the Bagutta Prize in Milan for his work. The stories in Our Last Family Countess appeared in The New Yorker and Reporter magazines, and were translated into Enlish by his wife, writer Helen Barolini.
