About the Author

As a Marine sergeant during WWII and an Army officer in Korea, Lansford acquired 18 decorations and a life-long interest in guerrilla warfare. He first learned about Villa from his Chihuahua grandmother’s memories of the great rebel leader. Since writing Pancho Villa, Lansford has authored many movies, TV shows, magazine stories and articles.
