About the Book

He was obsessed with Claire from the day he met her in college. Time had no effect on him, and four years after graduation, his feelings remained unchanged and he continued to think of her every day. One morning, he left his life in Los Angeles and took off for Alaska, hoping to escape his past and overcome his obsession. However, everything in Alaska, from the people to the rain to the work at the salmon cannery, brought back all of his memories of her. Only a new obsession with a girl strikingly similar to Claire could help him deal with his emotions, understand his past and focus on the future. He knew that he would always love her and always look for her around the next corner, but his obsession with Claire had to end.
