About the Book

Twenty-one year old Jillian Christine Thomas continues her painting career at a prestigious Parisian art school. Her friend from childhood, Kathleen Cardone, a classical pianist, achieves astonishing, rapid fame, but a debilitating affliction crushes her. She commits suicide. After spreading her friend’s ashes in the Seine, Jill returns to the United States.

About the Author

Following two years of study in an American college, L. D. Keyser continued his education in several French schools while living in that country for five years. Upon returning to the United States, he has spent many years designing carpets.
