As a modern day disciple of Jesus Christ, Douglas a 60?s navy vet and blue collar worker brings to life a personal spiritual call that leads he and his wife Joan on a five-year quest, filled with unexpected surprises, trials, and friendships. Written with honesty, humor and a total trust in God.

Douglas brings to life a story of faith, courage, and an unrelenting desire not to compromise with the worldly of today, but remaining steadfast, caring, and sensitive to what God has allowed them to see and do.
