The author began his political odyssey as an 18-year-old reporter for the St. Paul Pioneer Press. He was a working reporter in Washington at the age of 21. He was awarded a prestigious Nieman Fellowship at Harvard and won the Sigma Delta Chi Award for Distinguished Washington Correspondence. His books include Taxpayers' Hayride and Arms, Money and Politics. He has been listed in Who's Who in America for 40 years and was on Nixon's Enemies List.

Julius Duscha started covering national politics 60 years ago. He was a Washington Post political reporter and has written for the New York Times Magazine, Harpers and Atlantic. His books include Taxpayers? Hayride and Arms, Money and Politics. He was a Nieman Fellow at Harvard, is listed in Who?s Who in America and was on Nixon?s Enemies List.
