About the Book

After a disastrous early marriage that resulted in the loss of her dreams, Nia Walton has spent the last six years regaining control of her life. Now she works just as hard to keep it. As a single mother juggling a less than stellar job while trying to start a business, Nia has very little time for any real social life.

She believes love and romance are for fools and children. The Good Lord protects fools and children, and Nia Walton is neither of those. So why would an intelligent, self-sufficient woman risk it all and give up control?

About the Author

Nia Mitchell lives in a suburb of D.C. with her children, where she works fulltime as an Office Manager and attends college. Control is her first novel. Nia is currently juggling several other writing projects while trying to balance her hectic schedule and maintain her own control.
