The body of a successful Chicago businessman is found early one morning, floating in The Lake in Central Park, and the initial examination reveals that the death was not accidental. Shortly thereafter, private investigator Matthew Hogan receives a phone call from a coworker of the victim, asking for his help in the investigation.
With the help of his love interest, attorney Kathy Russell, and his long-time friend Tom Walker of NYPD, Hogan searches for and discovers several clues on the body of the victim. The evidence, and interviews with friends of the victim, leads Hogan into the dark and mysterious world of strip clubs.

About the Author
Randolph Mase was born in New York City and lived his earlier years in the metropolitan area, graduating from West Point up the Hudson River. By day, he is a corporate training manager, which he?s been for more than 20 years; by morning and night, he writes fiction. Death in Central Park is his third novel, and is a sequel to his first two, Death on Broadway and Death Beneath the Streets. He is now busy completing two more novels: the fourth in the Matthew Hogan Mystery series, Death in The Cloisters, and a historical novel of the American Revolution, Nathan Hale. Mase has two grown children who live in the Washington, D.C. area, and he lives with his wife in Putnam County, New York.
