About the Book

If You Only Believe, a collection of fourteen spiritual tales, traces the personal journeys of men and women, young and old, through life changing experiences that test and confirm their faith. These stories take place in what author Violet Holland calls the "Land of Believe," an era of innocence where men, women and children face what seem to be insurmountable obstacles, but who ultimately find their way and learn powerful lessons about life and the human spirit.

About the Author

Violet Holland attended Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, where she studied counseling. Her work has been published in national poetry anthologies, as well as aired on the radio program Poetry Today. Ms. Holland is a mother of four and an avid gardener. She currently lives and writes in Gloucester, Virginia, where she and her husband restored a one hundred year old farmhouse. If You Only Believe is her first book, a collection of spiritual tales inspired by her own faith.
