About the Book
The Orange Line gives the reader a glimpse of the war years in Memphis, Tennessee starting on December 7, 1941. The main characters, Rabbit, Crazy, Fatso, Stinky and Sammy are nine years old when WWII begins. The story takes you through their growing up with laughter, tears and pride, but mostly Laughter.
This book is about friendships-friendships that developed at the The Orange Line.
About the Author
Wayne Fuller was born in Myrtle, Mississippi in 1932. The Fuller family moved to Memphis, Tennessee shortly after he was born. There he lived until joining the U.S. Air Force in 1951. He retired in 1978 after serving twenty-eight years. He writes novels, poems and children?s stories.
