About the Book

Two kinds of magic. A magical mystery adventure. Join Tulip and Norry on a mission to save magic world help destroy the evil Mr Dandelion and save Magic world! "Two Kinds of Magic by Claire L. Dixon is a great imaginary story about a city of fairies and a new family of gnomes that move to town. This is a book that will be enjoyed by people of all ages. I think that this book will be enjoyed by children and adults that enjoy imaginary tales. The story starts with Norry Gnome attending fairy school for the first time. Norry is a gnome and comes from a family of gnomes. Norry's family is the only family of Gnomes in Fairy city. Norry's family had to move to Fairy city to help with Black Mountain because evil is lurking. The gnomes and the fairies have work together to fix the Black Mountain problem. Norry is a little worried about attending school with the fairies because he is different. This is an imaginary story but the story has an underlying message. Two Kinds of Magic is very entertaining but educational at the same time. The book has some colourful characters like Tulip and Miss Bluebell. Tulip is a little fairy that's impressed with Norry's magic tricks. Also, she is very interested in the Black Mountain which her parents have warned Tulip to stay away. Miss Bluebell is a teacher by day and a tooth fairy at night. Miss Bluebell has to visit real children to collect their teeth. The children's teeth are filled with imagination and this is very helpful for the fairies. Norry and Tulip comes together to solve the big mystery of what's happening in Fairy City with Black Mountain. The books are characters in this story and come alive. Meaning, Tulip and Norry have a conversation with the book instead of reading it. This story has a lot of twists, turns, and very entertaining. Two Kinds of Magic could be a tool to help a child to deal with someone different. I think children will love this book because the characters are very animated and funny."
