While keeping a personal journal in her attempt to find an outlet for her positive philosophy, author Connie Hunt discovered that poetry was the best channel for communicating her feelings. She believes that poetry is a powerful force in creating a new vision for the world.

Hunt has been writing poetry for thirty years. Her earliest work, Reaching, is still in the hands of enthusiastic poetry lovers. Listening: An Inner Journey, her second book, has reached an even broader audience.

Hunt's latest work, I Am a Flame, recounts her life experience from the perspective of her own growth to show others how to deal positively with change and transition and to encourage a greater awareness for our own life journey.

Connie Hunt currently resides in Ojai, California, with her husband of fifty-three years. Her column ?From the Heart? appeared in publications in the San Francisco Bay Area and in Southern California.
