About the Book
I kept expecting Bishop Don Juan to walk out from backstage with a mink and some purple gators. Instead, I saw a hoard of people going berserk as if that was a normal way to behave. Pastor had just said something that resonated with the congregation and this woman walked up, threw a bill onto the pulpit, and walked back to her seat waving her hands above her head. All of a sudden, a barrage of parishioners began filing out of the pews to do the same·. . .·But all of this feels a little bit too much like Magic City to me.
