About the Book

Some sweet, some sad memories of a time when we were all more innocent and stories like these were told around the family table. After questions from a grandchild and others from her children, she began to write in 1997. That grew to include her own account of a young woman growing up and enjoying life in an earlier time.

About the Author

Diane Lee Johnson wrote this book after numerous questions about grandparents and relatives. After living in Illinois for her early life, she has lived in Palo Alto, Palos Verdes, La Selva Beach and now, Laguna Niguel, California. Currently, she is an active volunteer and book lover.
