About the Book
Many Voices, One Echo is about young female insurance industry clericals in Hartford CT during the 60s and how they changed in a changing society. It is for anyone who has ever worked as a clerical in an office. This novel is about girls who didn't go to college, didn't drop out or protest because they were earning a living.
About the Author
Mikki Karotkin was born and raised in Hartford CT and worked many years in the insurance industry. She graduated Hampshire College in 1978, with a BA in English/Cultural Anthropology, the first older student to live on campus and take full part in campus activities. This book began as her Division III. She recently retired as a clerical working for the Los Angeles County Public Library for the past ten years.
