Oliver Worthy was an orphan. He never knew his mother or father; never had his own bike; or for that matter, even had a chance to ride one. Awakened from a terrifying dream Oliver screams. He is cold and wet with a large bruise in his side. Later that day, two deadly wolves mysteriously appear at the Home, almost killing his only friend, Skeeter Turner. About the Author

Chris Near was born on March 9, 1964. After spending 20 years in sales management for a high technology company, he has recently gone into retirement due to his on going fight with malignant melanoma. Chris, his wife and three children currently reside in Colorado.
