About the Book
When Eliana Tilton receives a summons from her step-uncle to visit him in Boston, she is none too thrilled. After her parents' death, her uncle became her guardian-a situation she can barely tolerate. She is shocked to learn that her uncle has lost her entire inheritance, leaving her penniless. Worse, he has arranged to have her "disposed of," and Eliana must think quickly to save her life.
Unable to return to her native England, Eliana travels to Flagstaff, Arizona, to seek shelter with her aunt. But her uncle follows. With the help of the local Native Americans, Eliana is able to escape her uncle's henchmen and hides in a desert cave. But when an unusual lightning storm suddenly appears, she loses her way as she follows the cave's disappearing, and twisting, tunnels.
Eliana stumbles into a time-warp and finds herself trapped against her will in ancient Atlantean times and pre-pyramid Egypt. She meets an assortment of colorful characters and begins to question where she truly belongs. But with the help of Selene, sister of the Greek god Helios. Will Eliana ever be free of the time warp and be able to return home?
