How Horses Learn covers the basic concepts in learning psychology with emphasis on the unique learning characteristics of the horse. The author provides a through scientific review of much of the information known about learning in horses, then applies this information to specific training situations.
About the Author
Dr. Godfrey graduated from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1980. She has a Master of Science degree in Animal Science with special emphasis in learning behavior in horses. Currently in private practice in South Texas, Dr. Godfrey has written numerous articles for national horses magazines and is a popular speaker on horse behavior throughout the US.
