About the Author
Dr. John Wesley Slider is in his seventh year of coaching Cross Country. He has coached several other sports including Track, Swimming, Volleyball, Basketball, and Softball. He has coached All-County, All-State, and All-American High School runners. John lives in Louisville, Kentucky, with his wife, Lillian. Their daughter, Heather, and son, William, both competed in college athletics.
