About the Author

Jim Quinlan is a former Chicago Sun-Times newspaper reporter. As a private airplane pilot, he has seen birds of all shapes and sizes from all angles. While some of these encounters have been up close and all too personal, his love of birds has never wavered.

Sam C. Rawls a.k.a. Scrawls is a true Renaissance man. An award-winning editorial cartoonist, Sam is an accomplished actor, budding screenwriter, champion bass fisherman, wonderful husband, and devoted dad. He is also a great friend.
