Do you avoid walking under ladders? See visions of "Jesus" in oil spills? Trust in President George W. Bush Jr.'s-or Reverend Pat Robertson's-or Osama Bin Laden's versions of "God" and/or "Allah"?

Ode to the Wicker Man (Book I) asks these questions of you, and much, much more-because it is about time that we take a good look at the dried out leaves that litter our lives-douse some burning "Bushes" with a few mega-buckets of water-and throw away our matches and illusions-before this whole damn place (which has been drenched in some extremely "Un-Holy Oil") blows!

About the Author

Nancy Smith is a published poet, the author of Sunday Screw (iUniverse 2007), an avid researcher, and a member of the Freedom From Religion Foundation. She is of Native American Indian and Scotch/Dutch heritage, has a BA in Psychology, and is very invested in issues having to do with FREEDOM and INTEGRITY.
